Key to Truth About Oklahoma City Bombing May Be Enigmatic West German Immigrant

The SPOTLIGHT determined long ago that the key to uncovering the truth about the tragedy lay in unmasking the enigmatic German national Andreas Strass meir. This, in fact, now seems to be a consensus among a diverse group of independent investigators...

For its own part, The SPOTLIGHT has documented that the aforementioned ADL had early, inside knowledge of McVeigh's activities, possibly provided by its contacts in one or more federal agencies, based on data probably provided by Strassmeir and his close associates.

The evidence indicates that Strassmeir, if not a participant in the bombing conspiracy, was certainly a longtime deep-cover informant for some federal agency, whether the FBI, the CIA or the BATF...

That Strassmeir was an undercover in formant also suggests that his close friend and sponsor (and attorney) Kirk Lyons was aware of Strassmeir's status and was, in fact, his "handler."...

Along with Lyons, the FBI, the ADL and Morris Dees, it has been elite media voices such as The New York Times, The Wash ington Post and Newsweek that have dismissed allegations regarding Strass meir.

Yet, while the Strassmeir connection has been suppressed in the American me dia, foreign news sources have been more forthcoming.

The June 8 issue of The Times of Lon don featured a revealing story about Strassmeir, saying that he could be "the missing piece in the puzzle." The authors clearly believe Strassmeir knows more than he is telling and that Strassmeir probably was an undercover intelligence operative.

The Times comments that "the syringe that executes McVeigh will also drain Strassmeir of significance; give him the status of a footnote" -- in other words, eliminate forever the one confessed conspirator who could finger Strassmeir.

The London newspaper adds revelations pointing toward Strassmeir's strange connections. For example, it turns out that Strassmeir can read Hebrew -- Israel's state language -- as a consequence of having had an Israeli army girlfriend, "not exactly the typical choice of a neo-Nazi," the Times adds knowingly.

In addition, the Times notes that when Strassmeir first arrived in this country that this so-called neo-Nazi extremist "found friends easily -- retired Army officers, CIA veterans, history buffs -- and became part of a network" which the Times said "is powerful in the U.S., a web of influence that stretches into the Pen tagon and the federal agencies, in churches and boardrooms, on the oil rigs and building sites."

Again, hardly the profile of your average grass-roots "extremist" but certainly the profile of an intelligence operative.

The Times concludes its remarkable re port saying that "we don't believe Strass meir is John Doe II" -- few people do -- but adds, "there is a feeling, though, that in the huge cast of characters, all the losers, and fanatics that make up the opera bouffe of the Oklahoma investigation, only Strassmeir has the brain to be the brains."...

That the ADL and Morris Dees of the SPLC are adamant in discounting the involvement of purported "neo-Nazis" such as Strassmeir in the bombing raises the question as to why these professional "nazi-hunters" are determined to discount the Strassmeir connection.

The only logical explanation is that Strassmeir was not really a "neo-Nazi" but instead, a classic "snitch" reporting back to federal intelligence agencies allied with the ADL -- or that Strassmeir was an ADL asset all along.

NATO's Al KKKaeda of North Africa

Reporter Wayne Madsen is in Tripoli (with former U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney). While the rest of the western media have been crowing of the horrible atrocities Qadaffi has been committing against his own people, to date no video evidence of the alleged incidents (such as strafing protesters from the air) has been produced. Madsen, however, describes videos he's been shown by Libyan reporters coming back from the rebel held areas around Benghazi...

This reporter was shown raw video footage of the Salafists in Benghazi cutting the throat of a Qaddafi supporter and severing his head...

I also saw another video of the wounds sustained by a Libyan nurse in a Benghazi hospital who was horribly disfigured by Salafist guerrillas. The woman's head was cut in several places, her throat was cut, and she had deep gashes in her arms. The Libyan journalists also witnessed other women in Benghazi whose breasts had been cut off by Libyan rebels.

The Libyan media team was in Benghazi while French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy was visiting representatives of the rebel National Transitional Council in Benghazi before traveling to Jerusalem. The Libyan journalists reported that Levy told the rebels that if they wanted to see increased support from NATO, they should establish relations with Israel...

That would be the same Bernard-Henri Lévy who subscribes to the philosophy of "Botulism"?...

Levy's friends in the Libyan rebel movement have been charged with raping and killing a number of workers, including women, from black African nations...

The ironies of history never cease: the first U.S. African-American president lends military and moral support to Libyan rebels who would make the KKK proud, killing not just the alleged mercenaries, but the migrant workers from sub-Saharan Africa with a level of brutality more reminiscent of the Balkan atrocities of the 1990s... A not untruthful observer of the fable

The AP headline reads,

Gates: Somebody in Pakistan knew about bin Laden

Knew what about bin Laden?

The quotations can imply a multiplicity of things.

On the question of bin Laden's whereabouts:

"I have seen no evidence at all that the senior leadership knew. In fact, I've seen some evidence to the contrary,"

This statement is consistent with the evidence being the fact that bin Laden was already dead. In fact, President Zardari's late wife had said as much shortly before her assassination.

"We have no evidence yet with respect to anybody else. My supposition is, somebody knew."

Likewise, this statement is consistent with bin Laden's whereabouts being in the grave somewhere, whether in Pakistan or Afghanistan, or perhaps in Yemen, or Saudi Arabia? In any case, it is not an unwarranted supposition to make - though according to Islamic custom, the grave was unmarked - that Pakistan's ISI could have been informed of the location, or even present at his burial, whether it was in December 2001, as originally reported, or later.

Pay close attention to Gates' statements in his 60 Minutes exit interview as well.

"This was a very risky operation. So, I was very concerned. So was the President... I worked for a lot of these guys and this is one of the most courageous calls -- decisions -- that I think I've ever seen a president make."

A courageous call? Certainly, it takes a lot of nerve to concoct a fable so contrary to what was one of the poorest kept secrets in Washington.

And who else would step forward to perpetuate the fable, but the company that makes "dreams come true"...

"The United States made it clear to Pakistani authorities in talks here on Monday that it wanted immediate release of jailed CIA operative Raymond Davis and that there would be no business as usual until the matter was resolved...

"I think, I’m confident that we can resolve this (Davis) problem and once we do we can get back to business … we can build the relationship between the United States and Pakistan,” US Special Representative Marc Grossman said at a meeting with a group of journalists."

An unnamed high-ranking State Department official helps a nuclear smuggling ring connected to Pakistani nuclear scientist A. Q. Khan and Pakistan’s ISI to plant “moles” in US military and academic institutions that handle nuclear technology, according to FBI translator Sibel Edmonds. The State Department official apparently arranges security clearance for some of the moles, enabling them to work in sensitive nuclear research facilities, including the Los Alamos nuclear laboratory in New Mexico, which is responsible for the security of the US nuclear deterrent. The high-ranking State Department official who is not named by Britain’s Sunday Times is said to be Marc Grossman…

On Sunday, Muammar Qadaffi's son, Saif El-Islam, gave a lengthy address to the nation with a level of geo-poilitical candor that one never hears from Western politicians. He then reminds the Lybian people that if civil war should ensue, look forward to the return of imperialism. He has a point: after all, Qadaffi in 2007 made a deal with the devil - British Petroleum, which had until then regarded December 7, 1971 as its day of infamy in Libya. Perhaps the "over $1 billion" for the concessions was still not a deal to BP's liking. And, considering BP's history with deals of this nature...

It could be that the Empire is up to its old tricks, though in this case they are hedging their bets with the "reformer" son. The son, in compliment, hedges his bets. After all, look at the company he keeps...

What is so deeply worrying is that he has tentacles deep in the heart of the British establishment. He has extremely powerful friends in Britain, among them Prince Andrew and the Rothschilds as well as Peter Mandelson.

According to a STRATFOR diplomatic source in the region, Ukrainian pilots are flying Libyan MiGs to fire on protesters in Tripoli.

The source claims the Italian mafia is also assisting the regime of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi and that boats operated by Italians have attacked demonstrators in Benghazi and Tripoli.

The source's information indicated that the Egyptian army has prevented a convoy of trucks carrying aid to Libya from crossing the border, as the Egyptian military is unhappy with potential regime change in Libya.

Witnesses say African mercenaries have been captured in Libya

What we do know is that they do not speak the local Arabic. Often, they speak English or French.

East of the country, mercenaries were hunted down by protesters with police help.... In Al Baida, Derna and Benghazi the family members of local police officers are taking part in the protests. Even in the army’s core, there are renown soldiers resigning across Benghazi and Sirte....

In the video, the captured man answers questions being asked by the mob of protesters in Arabic.

A protester: “Who is giving you orders”?
The man: “They come from up high. I swear, I swear…orders, orders”.
A protester: “They told you to fire at us”?
The man: “Yes, yes”.

The mob begins to fight. Numerous voices begin to shout “no, don’t do that…make him talk. We cannot act like they do”.

Ghanaians are being offered US$2500 dollars per day to go fight in Libya on behalf of the Gaddafi regime, according to rumors circulating in Accra.

It should be noted however, that there is a great deal of skepticism coming from the commenters on the above story...

Khaled Al Ga’aeem, under-secretary of the Libyan foreign ministry, phoned Al Jazeera on Monday evening. He was put live on air.

Here is a rough translation of the conversation that followed.

Al Jazeera: With us now is Khaled Gaeem, under-secretary of the foreign ministry. What’s your comment on what happened today in Libya?

Khaled Al Ga’aeem: "Good evening, the reason I am calling is to seek the truth and only the truth. I want stress two facts to the viewers in the Arab nation [world] - and especially to Libyans inside and outside Libya. And I take personal and full responsibility, and I am ready - not only to resign from my post - but also set myself on fire in the Green Square - if it is confirmed that there were mercenaries from African states coming by planes and if it is confirmed that there was aerial bombardment. And, by the way, I asked the British ambassador to be a witness and to bring a media crew tomorrow morning to tour all Tripoli to look for find any aftermath of aerial bombardment or discriminate bombardment. I will bear full responsibility and I will pay with my life as a price for it..."

So the case of Lybia illustrates why the blocking of foreign media has its disadvantages...

Update 3/6 12:57 PM: Foreign Secretary William Hague is reporting that the SAS troops as well as the diplomat “have now left Libya.” He insisted that the British government would send more diplomatic teams to East Libya “in due course.”

Sometimes no really means no.

That’s what the British military learned today when, after a solid week of Libyan rebel leaders insisting that they didn’t want any foreign intervention in the ongoing efforts to oust long-time dictator Moammar Gadhafi, they decided a great idea would be to dispatch a unit of their special forces, the SAS, to Benghazi to “offer help.”
